The birth of Jesus Christ

The birth of Jesus Christ
Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
Then Joseph her husband, being a just [man], and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.
But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.
Be of good cheer this day! And give glory to the name of Jesus.

May God bless you and keep during the coming year. Amen!

Obama delays moving US embassy to Jerusalem

Obama delays moving US embassy to Jerusalem

There was in China Daily on President Obama's waffling on moving US embassy to Jerusalem. This is of particular interest in the wake the EU's bid to split Jerusalem. Of course I don't want to put the onus strictly on President Obama, because Presidents Bush and Clinton didn't what to do with it either. But he's been waffling on entirely too many issues, of late. It seems like the only
things he's firm on is putting us in the poor house, without a blanket or a pillow.

Obama delays moving US embassy to Jerusalem
US President Barack Obama ordered Thursday to delay moving the US embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

"It is necessary, in order to protect the national security interests of the United States, to suspend for a period of six months the limitations" set forth in the Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995, said the president in a statement.

Obama had delayed to move the embassy to Jerusalem for six months in June.

The Jerusalem Embassy Act, which was passed by the US Congress in 1995, states that Jerusalem should be recognized as the capital of Israel and that the US embassy should be established in Jerusalem no later than May 31, 1999.

EU: Let's ensure division of Jerusalem

There was An article in the Jerusalem Post that makes some interesting reading.
The Bible says that the latter days, Jerusalem would a burdensome stone.

Zec 12:3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for
all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though
all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

And it looks like the stage is being set for that sooner rather than later. But
let the author tell it:

EU: Let's ensure division of Jerusalem
European leaders plan to publicly demand next week that Israel's capital be cut
in two, to be divided between the Jewish state and the non-existent state of
"Palestine."

The EU will issue its call newly empowered by the Lisbon Treaty, which came into
affect Tuesday, and which Europeans regard as placing them on a par with the
United States.

While the Palestinian Arabs have never had a state, Jerusalem became the capital
of the Jewish people in approximately 1000 BC. In the three millennia since, no
other nation has designated the city as their capital.

Nonetheless the EU, along with the rest of the international community, is
keeping relentless pressure on the Israeli government to give the Arabs
sovereignty over half the city.

And over half their historic land.

According to reports running in the Israeli press Tuesday and Wednesday, a
Swedish-drafted statement will be read out on December 7 after approval by the
EU Commission. It will be the "first official EU articulation of a solution" for
the issue of Jerusalem in the Middle East peace process.

Ha'aretz reported that the draft "refers directly to the situation in East
Jerusalem, calling on 'all parties to refrain from provocative actions' and
stating the EU Council 'has never recognized the annexation of East Jerusalem.
If there is to be a genuine peace, a way must be found to resolve the status of
Jerusalem as capital of two states. The Council calls for the reopening of
Palestinian institutions in Jerusalem in accordance with the road map. It also
calls on the Israeli government to cease all discriminatory treatment of
Palestinians in East Jerusalem.'"

The statement furthermore applauds Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Salam
Fayyad's proposal of a unilateral declaration of statehood, and commits the EU
to "at the appropriate time, recognize a Palestinian state."

Israeli officials have slammed the EU for ITS provocative meddling.

But Europe is resolved to interfere in a way it believes will intimidate Israel
into wilting under the pressure.

Measures recommended include:

Ensuring an EU presence at Israeli court cases on house demolitions or evictions
of Palestinian families and where there is a risk of demolition or eviction of
Arab families.

Holding EU celebrations, commemorations and national or Europe day events in
"East" Jerusalem.

Iran atom plant

Report: Russia vows quick completion of Iran atom plant

The YNetNews website is reporting that Russia has suddenly changed political course and vows to "quickly" complete Iran's first nuclear power plant at Bushehr.

Russia's energy minister pledged on Sunday a quick completion of Iran's first nuclear power station, Iran's state broadcaster IRIB reported, weeks after Moscow announced the latest delay to the Bushehr plant.

The reported statement, which did not give a specific time for the launch of Bushehr, came as Iran's government announced plans to build 10 new uranium enrichment plants, in a major expansion of its disputed nuclear program. (Reuters)

It looks like the President's policy of appeasement and supplication is not working. Both Russia and Iran are pushing hard for a start-up date in a scant four months. I remember a few months ago when the power that be in the US said it would be at least 10 years. I wonder if they have adjusted their time tables, and their attitudes....

I also read it YNetNews that Russia is fulfilling their contractual obligations for delivering the advanced S-300 anti-aircraft missile defense system; something the US pressured Russia not to do. Plus a Jerusalem Post article brought to light Iran's approved plans to build an additional 10 uranium enrichment facilities. The Jerusalem Post article reports:

The US ambassador to the United Nations on Monday called Iran's plans to build an additional 10 uranium enrichment plants "unacceptable," warning they could bring increased international pressure on Teheran.

But the US and the international community have, so far, not lifted a finger to stop the Iranians or the Russians.

For Israel, and by extension, the world, this is ominous news. If you are saved by the blood of Jesus, get ready. He's coming! If you not saved, get saved. Otherwise, get really...
